Oxfordshire's Young Business Person of the Year 2023 for BAMD Composites.

BAMD are very pleased to announce that our Managing Director, Sam Hudson, has been awarded the Matthews Comfort Young Business Person the Year Award 2023, part of the Oxfordshire Business Awards.

With over 50 applicants making it through the initial stages, Sam fought off tough competition from across Oxfordshire, before being shortlisted to the final three, pitting against Laura Callahan of Willow HR and Ferencz Kaszoni of Search Intelligence Ltd. Following a lengthy interview and selection process, the winner was announced on Friday 9th June, at the Oxfordshire Business Awards Gala Dinner, hosted by Dom Jolly.

On his win, Sam said, "Winning the Matthews Comfort Young Business Person of the Year award has come as a complete shock, but I am absolutely thrilled." When asked about the key to his success he explained ,"All I have ever set out to do is give every opportunity presented to me 110%, to prove to my peers that I was worthy of that opportunity and to continue to look forward the next area of progression."

Sam began his career at BAMD Composites in 2012, where he joined the Company as their first Apprentice. Having grown with the Company, he moved into a Board position in 2018, where he found much of his day to day focus changed. "The most important goal for me personally, and a shared core value with BAMD Composites, will always be to create a Company that People want to work for, and Clients want to work with," he explained.

In continuing with the theme of shared core values, and recognising the team work involved in creating successes, Sam continued, "I would like to thank my entire team at BAMD Composites for their dedication, hard work and belief in me as a Leader. I would like to personally name and thank Adam
